Special Functions

Child Lock

Use this option to disable the controls. This

feature can prevent children from changing

programmes or operating the appliance.

Locking the Control Panel

Press and hold the Rinse button for three

seconds.

' ' and the remaining time are alternatively

shown on the display while they are locked.

• When the Child Lock is set, all buttons are

locked except the POWER button.

NOTE

• Turning off the power will not reset the child

lock function. You must deactivate child lock

before you can access any other functions.

• To see the remaining time for each process,

press one of the Wash, Rinse and Spin

buttons. The remaining time for each process

will appear for about 1 second.

Unlocking the Control Panel

Press and hold the Rinse buttons for three

seconds.

• A beeper will sound and the remaining time for

the current programme will reappear on the

display.

Download Cycle

Use this function to download new and special

programmes that are not included in the

appliance's basic programmes.

• Appliances that have been successfully

registered can download a variety of special

programmes specific to the appliance.

• Only one programme can be stored on the

appliance at a time.

• Once a cycle download is completed, the

appliance keeps the downloaded programme

until you change it to a newly downloaded

programme .

NOTE

• You can download a desired programme

through the 'LG Smart ThinQ' application. For

more information, refer to the 'LG Smart ThinQ'

application.

• Depending on types of the washing machines

purchased, different programmes will be

available.

• The downloadable programmes may be

different depending on the updated version of

the 'LG Smart ThinQ' app.

Remote Start

• Press the Remote Start button for 3 seconds

to operate the appliance by a smart phone.

• All buttons are locked except the POWER

button.

• The function can be cancelled by pressing the

Remote Start button for 3 seconds again.
