This

monitor

complies

with

the

VESA

(Video

Electronics

Standard

Association)

DDC

type

2B

specification,

a

new

standard

allowing

a

compatible

video

card

2-way

communication

with

the

monitor.

This

communication

includes

automatic

setup

(sometimes

referred

to

as

Plug

and

Play)

of

the

optimum

resolution

available

to

both

the

video

card

and

monitor.

If

your

PC

has

Windows

95

and

a

DDC

compatible

video

card,

your

PC

will

automatically

determine

the

optimum

match

for

the

video

display

controller

and

monitor.

No

further

setup

of

the

display

selection

or

resolution

is

needed.

If

you

do

not

have

a

PC

with

a

DDC

compatible

video

card,

further

setup

in

Windows

may

be

necessary

for

the

optimum

display

between

resolution

desired,

number

of

colors

and

refresh

rate.
