TV,
AV
and
PC
monitor
modes
Inputs
can
be
set
for
TV,
AV
or
PC
monitor
mode.
AV
mode
is
used
when
a
video
cassette
recorder
(VCR),
or
other
equipment
is
con-
nected
to
the
set.
Note
:
When
a
VCR
is
connected
via
the
aerial
socket
the
set
is
used
in
TV
mode.

section.
1.
Repeatedly
press
the
MENU
button
to
select
the
Special
menu.
2.
Press
the
Δ
/
Ε
button
to
select
Input.
3.
Press
the
Φ
/
Γ
button
to
select
TV,
AV,
SAV,
COMPONENT
or
PC.
The
three
AV
and
PC
monitor
modes
are
:
AV
:
VCR
connected
to
the
AV
sockets
of
the
set
SAV
:
S-VIDEO
VCR
connected
to
the
S-VIDEO
sockets
of
the
set
COMPONENT
:
DVD/DTV
connected
to
the
DVD/DTV
IN
sock-
ets
of
the
set
PC
:
PERSONAL
COMPUTER
connected
to
the
PC
socket
of
the
set

Repeatedly
press
the
TV/AV/PC
button
to
return
to
normal
TV
viewing.
Alternatively
you
can
select
the
TV,
AV
or
PC
mode
by
pressing
the
TV/AV/PC
button.
In
AV
mode,
to
return
to
TV
mode,
press
the
Δ
/
Ε
or
NUMBER
but-
tons.
Child
lock
The
TV
can
be
set
so
that
the
remote
control
handset
is
needed
to
control
it.
This
feature
can
be
used
to
prevent
unauthorized
viewing.
1.
Repeatedly
press
the
MENU
button
to
select
the
Special
menu.
2.
Press
the
Δ
/
Ε
button
to
select
Child
lock.
3.
Press
the
Φ
/
Γ
button
on
the
remote
control
handset
to
select
On.
4.
Press
the
TV/AV/PC
button
to
return
to
normal
TV
viewing.
With
the
lock
on,
the
display
Child
lock
on
appears
on
the
screen
if
any
button
on
the
side
panel
is
pressed
while
viewing
the
TV.
Note
:
The
display
Child
lock
on
will
not
appears
on
the
screen
if
any
button
on
the
side
panel
is
pressed
while
displaying
the
menus.
