Eye

(option)

On

some

models,

the

set

will

automatically

adjust

the

picture

according

to

the

surrounding

conditions.

This

will

enable

you

to

enjoy

the

most

suitable

picture

according

to

the

surroundings.

Press

the

EYE

button

to

switch

the

eye

function

on

or

off.

When

the

eye

function

is

on,

the

most

suitable

picture

is

automati-

cally

adjusted

according

to

the

surrounding

conditions.

Note

:

a.

If

you

press

the

PSM

or

TURBO

PICTURE

button

with

the

eye

function,

the

eye

function

is

automatically

switched

off.

b.

In

the

teletext

mode,

the

eye

function

isn't

available.

Picture

format

You

can

watch

TV

in

various

picture

formats;

Standard,

16:9

(Wide),

Zoom.

Repeatedly

press

the

ARC

button

to

select

your

desired

picture

format.

Standard

This

picture

format

is

4

to

3

of

general

TV.

16:9

You

can

enjoy

the

cinema

(the

picture

format

of

16:9)

or

general

TV

programme

through

the

16:9

mode.

The

screen

16:9

is

viewed

just

like

that

but the

screen

4:3

is

mag-

nified

to

the

left

and

right

so

that

the

screen

16:9

is

full.

Zoom

You

can

enjoy

the

cinema

in

a

vast

screen

through

the

Zoom

mode.

The

screen

4:3

is

magnified

to

the

upper/lower

and

left/right

sides

so

that

the

screen

16:9

is

full.

The

bottom

and

top

of

the

picture

may

be

lost.

switch

standby

off,

picture

selection

When

this

function

is

on,

picture

will

be

more

brilliant

and

distinct

picture

than

normal

picture.

You

can

enjoy

the

Turbo

picture

so

much

better

than

normal

picture.

Repeatedly

press

the

TURBO

PICTURE

button

to

switch

on

or

off.

Note

you

press

the

Turbo

function,

the

Turbo
