DRC (Dynamic Range Control)

When a title encoded in Dolby Digital or Dolby

Digital Plus is playing back, you may wish to

compress the dynamic range of the audio

output (the dierence between the loudest

sounds and the quietest ones). This allows you

to listen to a movie at a lower volume without

losing clarity of sound. Set [DRC] to [On] for

this eect.

HD AV Sync

Sometimes Digital TV encounters a delay

between picture and sound. If this happens

you can compensate by setting a delay on the

sound so that it eectively ‘waits’ for the picture

to arrive: this is called HD AV Sync. Use

(on the remote control) to scroll up and down

through the delay amount, which you can set

at anything between 0 ms and 300 ms.

This function is operated only on the sources of

USB.
