password

If

you

change

the

rating

level

to

"7"

or

lower,

you

must

enter

a

4-digit

"password"

to

prevent

playback

of

discs

with

higher

ratings.

1.

At

the

SETUP

menu

screen,

press

E

to

select

"Password"

and

press

G.

2.

Input

a

4-digit

password

and

press

ENTER.

Example

1234

Do

not

forget

your

password.

3.

Input

the

4-digit

password

again

and

press

ENTER

to

verify.

Setting

is

finished.

The

rating

is

locked.

Any

disc

whose

rating

is

higher

than

the

setting,

cannot

be

played

back

unless

the

cor-

rect

password

is

entered.

To

change/clear

memorized

password

1.

At

the

SETUP

menu

screen,

press

E

to

select

"Password"

and

press

G.

2.

Input

your

password

and

press

ENTER.

3.

To

change

or

clear

your

password,

press

D/E

to

select

the

"Change"

or

"Clear"

and

press

ENTER.

follow

page

39-40

again.

forget

your

password,

clear

the

current

password,

follow

procedure

password

is

cleared.

appears

on
