Firmware upgrade using program

Used when firmware is damaged when upgrading firmware.

• Separate the cell from the player before firmware upgrade.

• Message "USB Connected" appears if normal connection is

done.

Execute the LGE_FWDN file in the Firmware Upgrade folder

within a CD.

Connect the player and the computer by using USB cable

while pressing the REC button after setting the hold switch of

the player to Hold Position.

Selected the mffe460.rom file downloaded from a homepage

http://www.lgxfree.co.kr by pressing the button.

Upgrade firmware by pressing the button.

Low format the player for program stabilization after separat-

ing USB cable (see page 34).

•Font deleted in low format must be newly updated to font

(iwfont.iwf) included in the CD provided.
