[DTV] Menu
Auto Tuning
This option scans a programme and sets the
available programmes. Refer to page 25 for more
information.
Manual Tuning
Scans digital TV or radio programmes and adds the
found programmes to the programme list. Refer to
page 25 for more information
Channel Edit
This option allows you to edit the TV or Radio
programmes. Refer to page 26 for more information.
Antenna 5V
If you are using an indoor antenna, use one with
a signal amplier rated at DC 5V, 100mA and set
this option to [On]. Refer to page 27 for more
information.
Timeshift
Set this option to [Auto] to use the Time Shift
function automatically without pressing TIME SHIFT
button. The timeshift will start after TV viewing is
started. Refer to page 27 for more information.
Software Auto Update
If you set this option to [On], the unit updates the
latest software automatically through the built-in
digital tuner If the software update is available from
the broadcaster.
[DISPLAY] Menu
TV Aspect Ratio
Select a TV aspect ratio option according to your TV
type.
[4:3 Letter Box]
Select when a standard 4:3 TV is connected.
Displays theatrical images with masking bars
above and below the picture.
[4:3 Pan Scan]
Select when a standard 4:3 TV is connected.
Displays pictures cropped to ll your TV screen.
Both sides of the picture are cut o.
[16:9 Original]
Select when a 16:9 wide TV is connected. The
4:3 picture is displayed with an original 4:3
aspect ratio, with black bars appearing at the
left and right sides.
[16:9 Full]
Select when a 16:9 wide TV is connected. The
4:3 picture is adjusted horizontally (in a linear
proportion) to ll the entire screen.
You cannot select [4:3 Letter Box] and [4:3
Pan Scan] option when the resolution is set to
higher than 720p.
