Fitting
Batteries
in
the
Remote
Control
Unit
The
remote
control
is
powered
by
batteries.
This
requires
AA
type
batteries
for
operation.
To
ensure
consistent
operation,
change
the
batteries
about
once
a
year.
Caution
:
Batteries
installed
incorrectly
may
leak
and
damage
the
remote
control.
Do
not
mix
old
and
new
batteries
or
different
types
of
batteries
(for
example,
standard
and
alkaline).
1.
Remove
the
battery
compartment
cover
by
sliding
it
in
the
arrowhead
direction.
2.
Insert
new
batteries
as
indicated
by
the
polarity
markings
(+
and
-)
inside
the
compartment.
3.
Replace
the
battery
compartment
cover.
