Programming

the

Remote

Control

to

Operate

the

TV

The

HDTV

Receiver

remote

control

is

a

multi-brand

or

universal

remote

con-

trol

that

can

be

programmed

to

operate

most

remote-controllable

TVs

from

other

manufacturers.

remote

control

may

not

be

able

to

control

all

models

of

other

brands.

Test

your

remote

control.

To

find

out

whether

your

remote

control

can

operate

a

TV

without

pro-

gramming,

turn

on

the

TV

and

press

the

TV

on

the

remote

control

while

pointing

at

the

TV.

Use

the

TV

POWER

and

TV

PR

+/--

buttons

to

see

if

the

TV

responds

properly.

If

not,

the

remote

control

requires

program-

ming.

Turn

on

the

TV

to

be

programmed.

Find

the

manufacturer

code

for

your

TV.

holding

down

TV

POWER

button,

press

the

number

buttons

to

select

the

manufacturer

code

for

your

TV.

st

the

remote

control

functions

to

see

if

the

device

responds

properly.

If

not,

repeat

step
