Selecting Ringer Types for Messages
To select a ringer type for messages:
1. From the main menu, select Settings ().
2. Select Sounds ().
3. Select Ringers ().
4. Select Messages ().
5. Select Voicemail ( ) or Notifications ().
6. Select a ringer menu by pressing the right softkey button (Actions)
and choosing
Default ( ) for preprogrammed ringers or
Download ( ) for downloaded ringers.
7. Use your navigation key to scroll through the available ringers. A
sample ringer will sound as you highlight each option. Press to
assign the selected ringer.
Selecting a Key Tone
Your phone offers a number of options for selecting the audible tones
accompanying a key press. Longer tone lengths may be better for tone
recognition when dialing voicemail or other automated systems, or you
may choose from other more entertaining options.
To select a key tone:
1. From the main menu, select Settings ().
2. Select Sounds ().
3. Select Key Tones ().
4. Using the navigation key, choose a key tone and press .
